RareAngels exists for one reason: when a family is facing something hard, help should reach them, and it should reach them now.
Why we start with rare disease
Rare disease is among the most complex hardships a family can face. Diagnoses can take years. Care is often far from home. Bills, time off work, travel and day-to-day life pile up, and many families feel they are carrying it alone. We believe that if we can get help to families in this situation, the same approach can help anyone facing hardship.
What we believe
- Compassion first. Every person who reaches out is treated with dignity and respect.
- Families can't wait. Hardship doesn't follow a schedule, so we work to remove delays wherever we can.
- Help should be simple to ask for. Asking for help is already hard. It shouldn't come with paperwork mazes.
- People want to help. Friends, neighbors and strangers often want to do something but don't know what. We want to make that easier.
- Privacy matters. Your information is used only to help you, and it is never sold.
Where we are today
RareAngels LLC is based in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are starting with a small, free program for individuals and families, beginning in Arizona and growing from there. Space is limited while we start, and we review every application personally.
