This policy explains how RareAngels LLC ("RareAngels," "we") collects and uses information on rareangels.com.
What we collect
- Information you enter on our application: name, email, optional phone number, city, state or region, country, who is applying, an optional short description of the condition or hardship, the kind of help you need, and how you heard about us.
- Your consent choices, including whether you opted in to text messages, and the date and time you did.
- Basic technical information our hosting provider records automatically, such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site running.
Please do not send detailed medical records. We only need a short description.
How we use it
- To review your application and contact you about how we can help.
- To send text messages, only if you opted in.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. Mobile numbers and text message opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and send messages (for example, hosting and text message delivery), only as needed to provide those services, or when required by law.
Text messages (SMS)
- If you check the optional text box on our application, RareAngels LLC may send you invite and update text messages about your application and RareAngels.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will get one confirmation text and no more messages after that.
- Reply HELP for help, or email rod@rareangels.com.
- Consent to texts is not a condition of applying for or receiving help.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep application information only as long as needed to review it and help you. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing rod@rareangels.com.
Children
Parents or guardians may apply on behalf of a child. Children should not submit applications themselves.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
